Five humanitarian emergencies, the transportation of 691 tons of aid, and 42 relief flights. The work of the International Humanitarian City (IHC) is unparalleled. However, as highlighted by Giuseppe Saba, IHC CEO, “it takes a village” to provide support to people during a humanitarian crisis, and nybl is honored to be part of that village.
The IHC Partners’ Dinner gathered their “village” for a remarkable evening of appreciation, community, and success stories. nybl alongside many other prestigious partners of the IHC Community, such as Mohammed bin Rashed Al Maktoum Global Initiative (MBRGI), Dubai Royal Air Wing (DAW), DP World Logistics, K+N (Kuehne Nagel), Emirates New Agency (WAM) and many more celebrated the work of thousands of individuals and organizations to accomplish delivery, supply, education, and information as One for Humanity.
While nybl and IHC developed a partnership in 2022, IHC is vastly approaching 2 decades of humanitarian outreach. New and old alike, the relentless work and support provided by institutions, companies, the private sector, academia, and media was celebrated. nybl in particular was distinguished for bringing about change on a global scale through the enhancement of data usage through AI. This trailblazing initiative and commitment was sealed with an appreciation award for using AI solutions to impact and support humanitarian action.
Innovation to IHC is the critical role nybl plays in making the world a better place; which captures the essence of nybl culture. Working together, empowering individuals, innovative solutions, and giving back to the community are all wrapped in working towards SDG 17 (Sustainable Development Goals).
